WORLD’S LARGEST GECKO · up to 14 inches
A Series of Laugh and Grow
Real animals, reimagined plump and cheerful — painted in lifelike detail, sculpted impossibly cute.
Chubby & Full of Character
Rounded, soft and undeniably cute — yet every scale, wrinkle and marking is hand-painted true to the real animal. The reaction it gets in person is always the same: so detailed, and so adorable.
Ready to Display
A single, sturdy hand-painted piece — no assembly, no fuss. Set it on a desk or shelf and it holds its happy pose, ready to collect and show off.
Meet the giant of the gecko world. The New Caledonian giant gecko — the ‘Leachie’ — can reach fourteen inches of mossy, muscular bulk, dwarfing every other gecko alive. Rounded up into a plump figure, that heavyweight build becomes irresistibly huggable.
The Biggest of Them All
At up to 14 inches and with a heavy, thick-bodied frame, Rhacodactylus leachianus is the largest living gecko by a clear margin — a true rainforest heavyweight.
The Voice in the Trees
Leachies are strikingly vocal, producing deep growls, grumbles and yips after dark. Local lore once cast the sound as ‘the devil in the trees’ — all coming from a gecko.
Mossy Rainforest Camouflage
Its blotched grey, green and rust coloring mimics lichen-covered bark, letting this bulky lizard vanish against a tree trunk. The paintwork captures that dappled, mossy texture.
A Long-Lived Giant
Leachies are famously long-lived, often passing twenty years, and bond notably with keepers. This is a gecko you grow old with — here rendered in full, contented roundness.
