A single, sturdy hand-painted piece — no assembly, no fuss. Set it on a desk or shelf and it holds its happy pose, ready to collect and show off.

Named for the titan who held up the heavens, the Atlas beetle lives up to the legend. Males grow three tremendous curved horns — two from the thorax, one from the head — and use them like grappling arms in slow, powerful duels high in the rainforest.

Three Mighty Horns

The male’s trio of long, curved horns is used to grip, lever and toss rival males off branches in contests over feeding sites and mates — a clash of living tanks.

Built Like Armor

Its thick, glossy black exoskeleton and heavy build make the Atlas beetle one of the most imposing insects of Southeast Asia, a favorite among beetle keepers.

Titan Strength

Like its rhinoceros-beetle cousins, the Atlas can shift and lift many times its own weight — astonishing power packed into a hand-sized insect.

A Peaceful Powerhouse

For all its fearsome horns, it feeds gently on fruit and sap — a titan with no quarrel beyond other males, here rounded into a chunky, glossy figure.

“Named for a titan, armed with three horns, and hooked on ripe fruit.”
