Like all Goliathus beetles it ranks among the largest and heaviest insects alive, a genuine colossus that dwarfs almost every other beetle it shares the forest with.

This species leans toward crisp white coloring marked with fine black lines and patches, giving it a striking, graphic look distinct from its browner cousin.
