A JAW THAT MEANS IT · the narrow bridge
A Series of Laugh and Grow
Real animals, reimagined plump and cheerful — painted in lifelike detail, sculpted impossibly cute.
Chubby & Full of Character
Rounded, soft and undeniably cute — yet every scale, wrinkle and marking is hand-painted true to the real animal. The reaction it gets in person is always the same: so detailed, and so adorable.
Ready to Display
A single, sturdy hand-painted piece — no assembly, no fuss. Set it on a desk or shelf and it holds its happy pose, ready to collect and show off.
Do not mistake small for harmless. The narrow-bridged musk turtle traded away much of its lower shell for freedom of movement — and backs up that exposure with a big head and a snapping, hooked bite that keeps predators honest.
A Shell Cut Back
Its name comes from the very narrow bridge connecting the upper and lower shell. The reduced plastron leaves more of the body exposed but lets this turtle move and strike with surprising speed.
Big Head, Bigger Attitude
An outsized head houses powerful jaws with a sharp, hooked beak. Quick to defend itself, this little turtle will lunge and bite when cornered — a giant temper in a palm-sized package.
A Musk Turtle’s Defense
Like its relatives it can release a musky scent to deter predators, earning the whole group the affectionate nickname ‘stinkpots.’
Life on the Bottom
It spends its days walking the muddy floors of slow tropical waters, hunting snails, insects and fish rather than swimming in open water — a rounded bottom-dweller with real personality.
