Hot Toys Unveils “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2” Peter Parker (Superior Suit) Collectible Figure
Hot Toys, the world-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer, has announced the release of its latest collectible figure from the PS5 game “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.” The figure features Peter Parker in his Superior Suit, a 1/6th scale masterpiece set to stand out in any Marvel collection.
Scheduled for shipping between the fourth quarter of 2024 and the first quarter of 2025, the figure is priced at HKD 1,790. Standing approximately 30 cm tall, this collectible brings to life the Superior Spider-Man, a character from Marvel Comics known for his striking red and black suit. The design inspiration is evident in the vividly contrasting colors and the four metallic mechanical spider arms, each painted bright red.
This Hot Toys rendition of Peter Parker in his Superior Suit boasts an impressive 30 points of articulation, ensuring dynamic posing and display options. The figure’s body proportions are meticulously replicated, and it’s crafted using elastic fiber materials supplemented with drop-glue craftsmanship and silk-screen printing techniques. The suit features a detailed and asymmetrical spider web pattern, an expansive and expressive spider symbol, sharp eye lenses, claw-like toe caps, and forearm gadgets, making it a visually stunning piece.
Accessories include four mechanical spider arms that can be freely attached to the figure’s back, six spider web shooting effects, multiple clawed hands for different poses, extra eyepieces, and a display stand with a nameplate. Each mechanical spider arm has five articulation points, allowing for flexible positioning and dynamic display.
