Hot Toys just announced the Hulkbuster Sixth Scale Figure by Hot Toys, a new Marvel piece listed as “coming soon” at Sideshow. There’s no price or release date yet, and honestly, that’s about all the official word we’ve got so far.
The Hulkbuster Sixth Scale Figure by Hot Toys is an upcoming Marvel collectible figure from Hot Toys, listed through Sideshow. Its price, pre-order date and release window have not been announced.
Why We’re Watching This One
The Hulkbuster is Tony Stark’s oversized armor, built for one ugly job: stopping the Hulk when Bruce loses control. The detail I keep coming back to is the two words in the name, “Sixth Scale.” Hot Toys builds its figures to be in proportion with each other, so a Hulkbuster at that ratio should tower over a regular Iron Man suit. That makes the size the real story here, and the official size hasn’t been announced yet.
The announcement also doesn’t say which Hulkbuster this is. Marvel has put out more than one version over the years, and that choice decides the armor plating, the colors and the overall silhouette. I’m watching for the first full photo set to settle it. We’ll update this when Hot Toys shares the price and the pre-order date.
