🎧 Gundam GQuuuuuuX Enters the Sound Arena

BANPRESTO, under BANDAI SPIRITS, is launching a striking pair of collectible head-type speakers from the anime Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX. Featuring two models—GQuuuuuuX Gundam Head Speaker and Red Gundam Head Speaker—both are scheduled for release as amusement prizes in August 2025.

🔊 GQuuuuuuX Head Speaker: Omega-Powered Detail

In a universe where Zeon wins the One Year War, the gMS-Ω GQuuuuuuX becomes the first Zeon-produced Gundam by UC 0085. Equipped with the Omega Brainwave Conduction System, it transitions from analog to thought-based control—allowing pilots to execute maneuvers via direct mental signals.

The GQuuuuuuX head speaker recreates this form in 14 cm (≈5.5 inches) height, complete with its iconic antennas and multicolor finish. Both sides of the head include embedded speakers. It operates via two AAA batteries and supports audio playback using a USB Type‑C to 3.5 mm jack connection built into the base.

The Red Gundam head speaker stands 11 cm (≈4.3 inches) tall and showcases designer Ikuto Yamashita’s flair: from Vulcan cannons to the compound-eye lens pattern and side-mounted neuro systems. Like the GQuuuuuuX version, it includes internal speakers and USB-C to 3.5mm support, powered by 2 AAA batteries.
