KADOKAWA, under its toy brand KDcolle (KADOKAWA Collection), will launch a new product based on the massively popular Japanese light novel “The Eminence in Shadow!”. The up-and-coming merchandise, named the ‘Original Version Beta’ 1/7 scale PVC finished product, is expected to fetch around 24,750 Japanese Yen and is anticipated to be released in October 2024. Expect big things to come from this!
“The Eminence in Shadow!” written by Aizawa Daisuke, features the character Beta from The Shadow Garden’s ‘Seven Shadows,’ occupying the second seat. With her silver short hair and blue eyes, Beta is an elf woman character of the ‘all-rounder’ type. She displays considerable skill in all areas, including strategy and martial arts. She regards the Shadow with admiration and reverence, chronicling all the exploits of her ‘Shadow Master’ in her ‘The Chronicles of Master Shadow.’ Talk about dedication to one’s idol!
The ‘KDcolle Original Version Beta’ 1/7 scale PVC finished product stands at approximately 28 centimeters. Its design is based on the primary visual illustrations drawn by the original illustrator, Tounishi Sensei, who oversaw the production process. This figure perfectly reproduces the charm of Beta in her slime suit! It features her cute smile, elf ears, and signature tear mole, adding to her allure. The figure’s forward-leaning posture accentuates her impressive body shape, while her bosom, pressed tight by the clothing, is sure to draw attention! The meticulous detail of the paintwork highlights different material textures, and the base replicates the slime effect, adding dynamic energy to the overall figure.
