This series nails the modern human condition. We all know that posture—hunched over, eyes locked onto the glowing rectangle, completely tuned out from the real world. But seeing it perfectly rendered on an Alligator, a Panda, a Penguin, and the dynamic duo of Dog & Cat? It’s brilliant satire wrapped in a cute little PVC shell.
I particularly love the concept of the Dog & Cat set being sold together. Are they fighting over the Wi-Fi signal, or just passively scrolling side-by-side? The ambiguity is fantastic. These figures look completely vacant, which is exactly how I feel after binge-scrolling for three hours straight. It captures that cute, yet deeply unsettling, lack of awareness.
I can already picture the diorama potential here. Imagine setting up my entire shelf to look like a coffee shop where everyone is ignoring everyone else, staring into their tiny phones.
