I’ve been staring at my Gundam X and Gundam Airmaster on the shelf thinking they looked a little lonely, and finally, the heavy hitter is joining the party.

Let’s talk about the pilot for a second—Roybea Loy. That guy knew how to pick a suit. The Gundam Leopard (also known as the GT-9600) is basically a walking armory. We’re talking Gatling guns, grenade launchers, and missiles everywhere. It’s the ultimate ‘I don’t need to move if everything in front of me is gone’ machine. I love that the lore mentions those G-Bit units; imagine having an army of 12 of these? Pure overkill, and I am totally here for it!

The engineering on this new kit looks super slick. Bandai is using their latest color-separation tech, so those boxy, retro-cool armor plates are going to look sharp right out of the box without needing a ton of stickers (hopefully!). It’s a literal festival of firepower when you open all the hatches for that ‘Full Open’ attack pose. I can already hear the plastic clicking into place. My hobby desk is ready, but my bank account? Not so much.
