The Pyramid Head (Deluxe Version) Sixth Scale Figure by Star Ace Toys is up for pre-order now, priced at USD 290 with an expected ship window of January to March 2027. It brings Silent Hill’s Red Pyramid Thing to 1/6 scale as he appears in Christophe Gans’ live-action film Return to Silent Hill. I’ll admit it: this is the one Silent Hill announcement I’ve been waiting for.
The Pyramid Head (Deluxe Version) Sixth Scale Figure is a 1/6 scale action figure made by Star Ace Toys Ltd. It stands 15.74 inches (40 cm) tall and is made of ABS, polyresin and PVC. It costs USD 290, is limited to 6 per person and is expected to ship between January and March 2027, with arrival possibly running through June 2027.
A Helmet That Does All the Talking
Anyone who played Silent Hill 2 remembers the first time that rusted triangle came around a corner, and how he never hurried. Star Ace recreates the helmet as it appears in the film, and the sculpt matters here because the helmet is the whole face. There’s no expression to carry, so the weight and the hard edges of that shape have to do the threatening, and from the prototype photos they do.
Bandages, Bruises and Real Fabric
Under the helmet, sculpted bandages wrap a heavily muscled torso painted with veining, bruising and scarring. That’s the kind of layered skin work I usually associate with Hot Toys, and if Star Ace lands it in production, the torso alone will reward the close look the listing promises. The apron is real fabric, grime-soaked and distressed by hand, hanging over bandage-wrapped legs and sandaled feet. I like that choice a lot; a sculpted apron would look tidy, and nothing about this guy should look tidy.
The Great Knife and Five Hands
He carries the Great Knife in a blood-slicked hand, with a chipped, pitted edge and blood spatter across the surface. Articulated elbows, knees and ankles plus five interchangeable hands let you pose him dragging the blade, standing over a victim or just waiting. Honestly, waiting might be the scariest pose of the three, and it’s the one I’d pick.
What the Deluxe Adds
The Deluxe Version includes everything in the Standard Version plus an exclusive diorama base: a slab of blood-soaked stone topped with twisted iron bars torn apart in the center. It tells a little story on its own, like something heavy just walked through and didn’t bother with the door. This is also the first figure in Star Ace’s Return to Silent Hill line, so we’ll be watching what follows him.

The Collector’s Survival Guide: How to Justify This

At $290, the hand-distressed apron and the torn-bar diorama base are what push this past a standard horror figure for me, and they make the Deluxe the version to watch. If the bruising and veining on that bandaged torso survive the jump from prototype to production, Star Ace has a strong opener for its Return to Silent Hill line.
