GF Gundam Astraea Type-F Joins SDW HEROES Line!
Bandai Spirits is launching a bold new entry in its SD Gundam World Heroes model kit series: the GF Gundam Astraea Type-F, scheduled for release on March 22, 2025!
Official images of the box art and final model build have been released ahead of the launch. They show off a high-detail, compact SD figure that packs a ton of personality and firepower.
A Reimagined Hero from the SUPER G-ARMS!
The GF Gundam Astraea Type-F is inspired by the Gundam Astraea Type-F from Mobile Suit Gundam 00, redesigned for the SUPER G-ARMS, a modern take on the classic faction from the 1990s SD Command Chronicles trilogy.
✔ Designed by mechanical artist Toshihisa Miyauchi
✔ Battles alongside Captain GF Qan[T] and GF Gundam Astraea Type-B
✔ Pays homage to the legendary Shogun Gundam and Fortress Kaiser from classic SD lore
This is a Reiwa-era tribute to the legendary SD super squads!
High-Density Mechanical Detail in SD Form
The model uses intricately molded parts to recreate the dense mechanical aesthetics, especially on the shoulders, legs, and facial armor.
? Clear green parts enhance the GN-based rifle, shield, and visor—modeled after the Proto GN Sword and GN Shield
? The signature SUPER G-ARMS emblem is boldly featured on the forehead
? Equipped with Avalanche-style boosters on the shoulders and legs for added impact
This kit is all about presence and play value even in SD form.
Combining Feature Revealed: The Shogun Fortress Mode!
In a surprise twist, GF Gundam Astraea Type-F includes transformation-compatible parts that allow it to combine with GF Astraea Type-B and GF Qan[T] kits.
Together, these three kits can be reassembled into a massive form known as “Shogun Fortress”, standing around 20 cm tall (Approximately 7.9 inches)—even more significant than a standard MG 1/100 Gundam 3.0!
✔ Inspired by Shogun Gundam and Fortress Kaiser
✔ Modular combination with shared parts
✔ Emphasizes the super robot vibe with SD flair
