My Self Control Just Lost to Jotaro and DIO

Look, I’m going to be real with you all. I sat my bank account down this morning and had a heart-to-heart. I said, ‘No more. This is the last thing I’m looking at this month.’ I really meant it. But then threezero had to go and post on their official X account, and now I’m here breaking my own heart and my own rules. We are officially getting Jotaro Kujo and DIO in high-quality 1/6 scale under the FigZero brand, and I am already clearing off a shelf that I promised would stay empty.

If you aren’t familiar with the Stardust Crusaders arc of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, it’s basically the ultimate showdown across the desert. We’ve got Jotaro heading to Egypt to take down the immortal DIO. Seeing these two legendary characters get the 1/6 scale treatment from a brand like threezero—who basically specializes in high-end, articulated figures—is a dream come true for a collector like me.

They’ve already teased the head sculpts by MICHIRU imai, and man, the craftsmanship is incredible. They’ve perfectly captured that iconic Araki art style. I’m especially looking at the way Jotaro’s hat seamlessly blends into his hair—that’s a detail you have to get right or the whole thing falls apart. And DIO? He looks just as menacing and charismatic as he should. Even his earrings are perfectly scaled.

Now, the wait is going to be the hardest part. These prototypes are set to be revealed at Wonder Festival 2026 [Winter] on February 8th at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba. I’m already planning my social media refresh schedule for that day because I need to see the full bodies for these two. Honestly, this ‘last purchase of the month’ lie I tell myself is getting harder to maintain when threezero drops bombs like this. My collection needs this rivalry!
