OSHI WORKS Dr.ワイリー&Dr.ライト is a two-figure set from Kotobukiya based on Capcom’s Mega Man 11 (ロックマン11 運命の歯車!!). It’s scheduled for November 2026 at 11,000 yen (appx. $73). Two old men, one box, decades of grudges.
This set contains a Dr. Wily figure and a Dr. Light figure, each on a display base. Kotobukiya is the manufacturer, and the prototype is by 株式会社サウザンド (Thousand Inc.). Release is planned for November 2026 at 11,000 yen including tax.

The Robot University Grudge
The pairing makes sense if you’ve played Mega Man 11’s opening flashback. Young Wily pitches his Double Gear system at Robot University, and the committee backs Light’s research instead. That rejection is the seed of every Skull Castle that followed. Kotobukiya packaging them together feels like a reunion neither man asked for.
Sculpt Volume and Silhouette
The OSHI WORKS approach shrinks proportions without thinning them out. Wily’s hair flares up and out in two sculpted horns, which reads as pure mad-scientist ego in 3D. Light gets a rounder torso and a full beard that sits heavy on his lab coat. It’s a gentle body for a gentle man. The contrast between those two silhouettes tells the whole story from across the room.

Paint Work Worth a Close Look
The official shots show clean separation between lab-coat white and the darker trim, with soft shading in the coat folds rather than flat fill. Wily’s mustache and brows get crisp edge work. I’d put the finish closer to First 4 Figures’ Mega Man chibi pieces than to a budget prize figure. That’s a fair compliment at this price.

Magnets and the Shelf Plan
Each figure has a magnet in the feet, so they snap onto their bases without pegs. That matters here. Kotobukiya is releasing Mega Man and Roll in the same line, and the bases are designed to line up. Wily’s 22 cm (appx. 8.7 in) and Light’s 21.5 cm (appx. 8.5 in) heights include the bases, so the doctors will tower politely over the kids. I’m watching how the full four-figure lineup photographs together.

The Collector’s Survival Guide: How to Justify This
The Collector Math: Mega Man 11 confirms it: eleven games of robot rampages started because one committee told Dr. Wily no. I’m telling both doctors yes for 11,000 yen, just 1,000 yen per game of chaos I’m preventing. Robot University should’ve hired me.
How to tell your wife: Dr. Wily has stolen robots and tried to conquer the world in nearly every game, and one good grovel gets him off the hook every time. All I did was spend 11,000 yen on two old men in lab coats. By Wily standards, I don’t even have to kneel.
How to tell your parents: Mom, you always said you wanted a doctor in the family. This box has two of them, both Robot University men, and they arrive next month for 11,000 yen. One of them is even a good influence.
How to tell your kids: Dr. Wily has escaped at the end of nearly every Mega Man game, so his feet are magnetized to that base. You can look at both doctors, but nobody lifts Wily off. Pull him off, and Mega Man chases you instead.
Most companies would sell Mega Man and call it done, so giving the villain and the mentor their own set shows Kotobukiya understands the series runs on that rivalry. At 11,000 yen, it’s the rare pair where the supporting cast might end up as the reason you build the whole shelf.
