Sideshow has just announced the Exraille Premium Format™ Figure, a new piece for its Court of the Dead line. It’s listed as coming soon with an RSVP option on Sideshow’s site, and the release window and price haven’t been announced yet.
The Exraille Premium Format™ Figure is a Court of the Dead statue from Sideshow, currently listed as upcoming. Price, size, edition size and pre-order date have not been announced.
Why We’re Watching This One
Court of the Dead is Sideshow’s own world, a dark fantasy underworld built around Death’s court and the war between Heaven and Hell. Every character in it comes from the studio’s own design team instead of a film or game license. I like that a lot, because there’s no movie still to copy, so the sculpt has to carry the whole story on its own. I’m curious what Sideshow’s team does with Exraille in the Premium Format™ line, and the thing I’ll be watching for is the first full photo set, since that’s where a sculpt either sells you on the character or doesn’t. Until then, all you’ve got is a name, a line and an RSVP button, which honestly is half the fun of a tease.
