I Officially Give Up On My No Buy Resolution Because The Red Ribbon Army Is Calling

Look, I am not proud of it, but I am a total hypocrite. Last week, I looked at my display cases and told myself I was officially done for the month. ‘The collection is complete,’ I said. Then Bandai Spirits decides to drop the reveal for the Ichiban Kuji Dragon Ball EX: Duel! Red Ribbon Army, and honestly? My self-control just walked out the door. It is the big lie we all tell ourselves, but this set is worth breaking every promise I made to my bank account.

This collection is hitting that sweet spot of early Dragon Ball nostalgia. We are looking at the MASTERLISE series, which means the sculpt quality is going to be top-tier with that signature matte finish. The A Prize Son Goku is the perfect anchor for the set, capturing that youthful adventure energy before things got all about Super Saiyans. But man, the real hype for me is the deep-cut characters that rarely get this kind of love.

I mean, look at the B Prize Ninja Murasaki (also known as Sergeant Major Purple) and the C Prize General Blue. Getting a high-end, detailed figure of General Blue in his full command gear? That is a dream for any classic Dragon Ball fan. The tailoring on the uniform sculpt looks incredible. Honestly, I’ve been waiting for a decent Ninja Murasaki for years, and now that it’s coming in 2026, the wait is going to be brutal.

They didn’t stop at just the villains, though. The D Prize Goku, Bulma, & Krillin Submarine is an absolute standout. It captures one of the most iconic vehicle moments from the Red Ribbon Army saga. It is the kind of piece that adds so much flavor to a shelf beyond just standing characters. And for the collectors who love the weird and wonderful, the E Prize DRAGON ARCHIVES are definitely going to be on my hunt list.

The absolute crown jewel of this drop is the Last One Prize: Android 8 (also known as Eighter or Jinzoningen Hachigo) & Goku MASTERLISE PLUS.
