BANDAI’s “MOVIE MONSTER” series introduces the Mechagodzilla figures, themed after the “Godzilla vs. Evangelion” project, in an exciting blend of two iconic universes. These figures, showcasing Mechagodzilla, also known as Kiryu from the movie “Godzilla x Mechagodzilla,” are set for release in September 2024. The Mechagodzilla, originally appearing as the MFS-3 (Type-3 Multi-Purpose Fighting System) in the 2002 film, is now featured in heavy-armed versions inspired by the colors of EVA Unit-01 and EVA Unit-02.
The EVA Unit-01 version uses a striking metallic purple and fluorescent green, enhancing the intricate mechanical details across the body. The EVA Unit-02 version employs a brilliant metallic red, emphasizing a robust and impactful visual presence.
