Godzilla (2026) Collectible Figure by Spiral Studio Preview

Spiral Studio and sculptor Ken-ichi Tanaka bring the 2026 Godzilla to your shelf in a 44 cm PVC figure for $510, shipping April to June 2027.

Godzilla (2026) Collectible Figure by Spiral Studio

The Godzilla (2026) Collectible Figure by Spiral Studio is up for pre-order now at $510, with shipping expected between April and June 2027. It’s the new-era Godzilla from Godzilla Minus Zero, sculpted by Ken-ichi Tanaka, and I’ll be honest: this is the kaiju preview I’ve been waiting to write all year.

The Godzilla (2026) Collectible Figure is a PVC figure made by Spiral Studio under the Hall of Fame – TOHO Classic Monsters – Godzilla Minus Zero line. It measures 17.32 inches (44 cm) tall and 26.18 inches (66 cm) wide, costs USD $510, and is expected to ship from April 2027 to June 2027. Edition size is listed as TBD, with a limit of 6 per person.

The Quick Collector’s Checklist

Three things first. The price is $510, the ship window is April to June 2027 (with a note that it could slip as late as September 2027), and the edition size hasn’t been locked in yet. There’s also a Heat Ray Version listed alongside the Standard Edition, so if you like your Godzilla mid-blast, keep an eye on that one too.

Ken-ichi Tanaka and That Wide, Low Pose

The number I keep coming back to is the width. At 66 cm across and 44 cm tall, this Godzilla is posed long and low, with the tail sweeping out instead of standing upright like a mascot. That fits the Minus One-era design, which always moved like a predator rather than a guy in a suit, and Tanaka seems to have leaned straight into it. Based on the prototype photos, the keloid-heavy skin texture reads deep and crusty, which is exactly what you want on a monster that’s supposed to look half burned and fully furious.

How the Paint Should Read on a Shelf

The prototype shots show a dark charcoal body with lighter tones catching the ridges, and that layered approach matters on a piece this textured. Flat black would swallow every bump Tanaka sculpted. Do keep in mind the listing notes the item shown is a prototype, so the final production paint may differ a bit, and I’d wait for production photos before judging the dorsal plates up close.

PVC at $510: Where It Sits

For comparison, Prime 1 Studio’s big polystone kaiju statues often land well above this price and weigh enough to worry a shelf bracket. PVC won’t have that cold, stony heft, but it’s tougher to chip and far kinder to your furniture, and Spiral Studio’s Hall of Fame pieces have been landing in that sweet spot between display statue and collectible figure. For a footprint this big, $510 feels fair to me, though I’d love to see the final edition size before calling it a steal.

The Collector’s Survival Guide: How to Justify This

The Collector Math: Every time Godzilla comes ashore, Japan ends up rebuilding Tokyo. This Heat Ray Version costs $510 and stomps exactly zero buildings, which works out to $510 per Tokyo saved. Honestly, Japan should be chipping in.

How to tell your wife: Babe, Japan has thrown tanks, jets and the entire navy at Godzilla since 1954, and he comes back every single time. One click on Sideshow’s cancel button isn’t going to do what the navy couldn’t. You can’t cancel Godzilla; he always comes back.

How to tell your parents: Mom, for years you’ve told me to stop buying wobbly flat-pack shelves. This Godzilla is 66 centimeters wide, and nothing wobbly has ever survived a Godzilla, so now I need real furniture. He’s finally turning me into a grown-up.

How to tell your kids: This is Godzilla, and in the movies he walks right up to trains and bites them. He’s 44 centimeters tall, so your toy cars and trains look exactly like dinner to him. Anything still on the floor at bedtime is his midnight snack.

Godzilla (2026) Collectible Figure by Spiral Studio

This is a 66 cm wide slab of Tanaka-sculpted texture, and if you’ve got the shelf depth, it earns its spot more than most kaiju pieces at this price. My only hesitation is the TBD edition size, and we’ll update this when Spiral Studio confirms it.
