The Intern MIU Sixth Scale Figure by KONC WORKS is the first character figure from EARTHON+, the studio’s original sci-fi world, and it’s priced at $275. It’s expected to ship between December 2026 and February 2027, with a note that some orders may run through May 2027. I’ve only seen the promo shots so far, but this is one of the more interesting original sixth scale debuts I’ve looked at this year.
Intern MIU is a 12-inch (30 cm) sixth scale action figure made by KONC WORKS for its EARTHON+ line. It’s a limited edition of 999 pieces, priced at $275, with a limit of 6 per person. Shipping is expected from December 2026 to February 2027.
A World Where Nobody Goes Outside Unmasked
Here’s the setup: Earth is a mess, you can’t step outside without a mask, and an international organization called EARTHON+ exists to fix it. MIU is the new intern who gets sent into the field to collect and record environmental data with her camera-shaped device. I like that KONC WORKS made the lowest-ranking person in the building the face of the launch. The listing mentions senior researchers, team leaders, mechanics, doctors and a colonel, so there’s clearly a roster waiting behind her.
The Head and Those Rolling Eyes
The head is PVC and has a rolling eyes mechanism, which is the feature I’d watch most closely when final production photos land. Hot Toys has made eye-movement heads a premium marker, and seeing a newer studio put one on its very first character tells me KONC WORKS wants to compete on that tier rather than the budget end. In the promo images the sculpt reads clean and youthful, which suits an intern on her first assignment. The listing does say the item shown is a prototype, so the paint on the face may shift a bit before it ships.
Silicone Body, Real Fabric, Metal Bits
The body is partially silicone and listed as a proprietary development, paired with fabric clothing. The materials list covers ABS, metal, POM, PVC and silicone, which is a serious mix at $275 (appx. $275, since it’s already in US dollars). Partial silicone usually means smoother joints at the elbows and knees without visible pins. That matters for a character whose whole job is crouching over soil samples and pointing a camera at things.
The Gear: Camera, Cable and Skates
The accessory list is short but specific. MIU gets a camera-shaped Collectible Device with a magnet, a connection line running between a laptop and the camera, inline skates with interchangeable outsoles and magnets, and five gloved interchangeable hands. The inline skates are my favorite choice here, because a field intern on a ruined planet skating between survey points is a fun piece of character logic. The magnets should make posing her with the camera a lot less fiddly than the usual peg-and-pray approach.

The Collector’s Survival Guide: How to Justify This
The Collector Math: MIU is sixth scale, which makes every figure exactly one-sixth of an intern. Sideshow lets me buy six, so for $1,650 I get one complete, full-sized intern. I’m not hoarding; I’m offering her a full-time position.
How to tell your wife: Babe, every office on Earth runs on one rule: whatever goes wrong, blame the intern. MIU is officially an intern, and that $275 charge showed up the same day she was hired. Honestly, babe, the intern did it.
How to tell your parents: Mom, you always asked when I’d finally be in charge of somebody. I just hired an intern, and only 999 of her exist, so I out-recruited 998 other bosses. Your son is management now.
How to tell your kids: This is MIU, our new intern, and in every real office nobody messes with the intern while she’s learning. Anyone who touches or bothers her gets reported straight to HR. In this house, HR is Mom.
I think MIU earns her shelf space on the strength of the rolling eyes head and the partial silicone body alone, especially from a studio launching its own world instead of borrowing a license. With only 999 made, I’ll be watching the final production photos closely, and we’ll update this if KONC WORKS reveals more of the EARTHON+ staff.
