It’s not often a collector gets genuinely floored by a mere preview, but BANPRESTO has done it again. Their upcoming `刃牙「これって……ッッ 球体……………!!! 」フィギュアッッ!!` (Baki “Is This… A Sphere…!!!” Figure!!) is something truly special, a physical rendition of one of manga’s most absurd, yet iconic, moments.
This BANPRESTO prize figure of Biscuit Oliva from the `Baki` series is scheduled for release in September 2026. Standing at approximately 10 centimeters (3.9 inches) tall, it will be available through crane games and other prize formats.
The Unchained Sphere, Unbound by Logic
Biscuit Oliva, “Mr. Unchained,” is a force of nature in the `Baki` universe. His legend isn’t just about raw power; it’s about his impossible feats of bodily control, culminating in the infamous “absolute defense sphere.” This figure brings that ludicrous concept to life, perfectly encapsulating a moment of pure, unadulterated `Baki` absurdity.
Sculpting the Impossible Physique
The sheer musculature of Oliva has always been a focal point of his character, and it’s captured flawlessly here. Every sinew, every bulging fiber, is meticulously sculpted into a compact, seamless globe. That level of detail, especially on a prize figure, speaks volumes about BANPRESTO’s commitment to Itagaki-sensei’s vision. It’s a remarkable achievement in translating 2D extremity into a solid 3D form.
A Luminous Sheen of Strength
Oliva’s signature dark, oily skin receives an expert paint application that highlights his sculpted physique. The gloss isn’t just a surface treatment; it adds a visual weight and density, making the figure feel substantial. It emphasizes the compression of his form, a key element of the “sphere” technique. The finish helps make the 10cm figure feel even more concentrated than it is.
More Than Just a Prize
While a prize figure, the `刃牙「これって……ッッ 球体……………!!! 」フィギュアッッ!!` elevates the category. Its unique pose and faithful rendition of a beloved character moment make it a compelling piece for any `Baki` enthusiast. It truly stands out amongst typical character busts or dynamic action poses, offering something distinctively Oliva.
The Collector’s Survival Guide: How to Justify This
The Collector Math: Biscuit Oliva is famously “The Unchained,” a man impossible to contain. This 10cm sphere represents his ultimate freedom from physical constraints, and as a prize figure, it’s practically free from a traditional price tag too. You can’t put a price on that kind of liberating artistry.
How to tell your wife: Honey, this 3.9-inch figure perfectly embodies the spirit of resilience and unyielding resolve. It’s not a toy; it’s a tactile representation of unwavering commitment, a lesson for us all. It will be a solid, silent presence in the living room.
How to tell your parents: You always taught me about resourcefulness and making the most of my opportunities. This Banpresto prize figure, precisely 10cm of honed muscle, is a free acquisition that celebrates an athlete’s physical peak. It’s a frugal way to bring home a sculpture.
How to tell your kids: This 3.9-inch sphere is Biscuit Oliva’s unbreakable form, a perfect example of focusing all your strength. Because it’s so condensed, it’s actually a miniature black hole for dust, attracting all the particles around it. So, no touching, we need its anti-dust field.
This BANPRESTO release of Biscuit Oliva isn’t just another `Baki` figure; it’s a confident statement, encapsulating the series’ eccentric charm in a perfectly sculpted form that every fan should consider.
