Hot Toys just announced the Utapau Clone Trooper Sixth Scale Figure, a new Star Wars piece listed as coming soon to Sideshow. The price, the release window and the pre-order date haven’t been announced yet, so all we’ve got for now is the name, the maker and a promise.
The Utapau Clone Trooper Sixth Scale Figure is a sixth scale Star Wars collectible figure made by Hot Toys and offered through Sideshow. Its price, release date and pre-order date have not been announced.
Why We’re Watching This One
Utapau is the sinkhole planet from Revenge of the Sith, where Obi-Wan tracks down General Grievous, and it’s also where his own clone troopers turn their guns on him. That’s a heavy moment for a soldier who never says a word, and I think it’s what makes this trooper more than another white-armor variant on the shelf. Hot Toys has a strong track record with clone armor at this scale, so the detail I’m most curious about is how they’ll handle the Utapau weathering once the full photo set drops. I’m also keeping an eye on the price, because nothing’s been confirmed yet, and that’ll decide a lot for a lot of you.
