Mezco Toyz has opened pre-orders for the One:12 Collective Batman: The Animated Series Robin, a 1/12 scale action figure based on the 1992 to 1995 animated show. It’s priced at $116 and slated for Q4 2026. He completes a trio. Batman and The Joker already shipped in this sub-line, and Robin is the piece that turns a pair into a team.
The figure is a 1/12 scale action figure made by Mezco Toyz. It stands about 17 cm (appx. 6.7 in) and has 28 points of articulation. It’s available for pre-order on the Mezco website for $116, with release scheduled for Q4 2026.
Bruce Timm’s Lines, Built in Fabric
BTAS drew from Tim Burton’s Batman films and the 1940s Fleischer Superman shorts, so its characters are all flat color and hard angles. That’s tough to translate into a tailored figure. Mezco’s answer is a mixed-material suit in the red, green and yellow Dick Grayson wore on the show, with a hand-painted head sculpted in the animated style. It works on paper.

Paint and Sculpt Volume
The face is the hard part here. Animated heads need clean, cel-flat color, not the airbrushed skin gradients Hot Toys uses on its 1/6 portraits, and Mezco’s hand paint looks to be aiming for exactly that restraint. The sculpt has to add depth to a cheekbone that was only ever a single ink line. Four swap heads give it room to try.

What’s New Versus Batman and Joker
The earlier releases leaned on silhouette and expression. Robin leans on gadgets. You get a two-way radio, infrared goggles, a gas mask, headphones, a flashlight, four bugs with a transmitter, two Batarangs and two R-shaped shuriken. Then it keeps going: a wired grapple line with a spinning effect, a grapnel gun set, an infrared spray with effect, a torch cutter with flame, explosives and a staff.

Why the Kit Fits the Character
On the show, Robin was the field operative who did the climbing and snooping. A pile of bugs and a torch cutter says that better than another fist ever could. Six pairs of hands make the tools usable. The printed Robin base handles the acrobat poses.

The Collector’s Survival Guide: How to Justify This
The Collector Math: A sidekick’s entire job is giving Batman a hand. This Robin comes with six pairs of hands for $116, so I’m getting twelve hands at under ten bucks each. Even Bruce Wayne can’t hire help that cheap.
How to tell your wife: You’ve been asking me to fix that squeaky cabinet door since summer. On the show, Batman sends Robin in to do the dirty work, and this Robin comes with a torch cutter and explosives. That hinge has no idea what’s coming.
How to tell your parents: You always said raising a kid costs a fortune, and Bruce Wayne proved it by paying for every gadget Robin owns. Mine shows up fully trained, fully equipped and done growing at 6.7 inches. I skipped the teenage years entirely.
How to tell your kids: This is Robin, and he and Batman are the best detective team in Gotham. Look all you want, but he carries infrared goggles and infrared spray, and every fingerprint on this shelf gets traced back to its owner. One smudge, and it’s ‘Holy fingerprints, Batman!’
Robin is the BTAS figure I’d call essential, because a Batman without his partner only tells half the show’s story. At $116 and nearly twenty tools, he’s also the one in this trio that most obviously earns his price.
