The Corporal Hicks Sixth Scale Figure by Hot Toys brings Michael Biehn’s steady Colonial Marine from Aliens to the Movie Masterpiece Series. It’s on pre-order now for USD 300, with shipping expected between July and December 2027. I’ve wanted a proper Hicks for years, and this one is clearly built by people who love him.
The Corporal Hicks Sixth Scale Figure is a 12.01 in (31 cm) collectible figure made by Hot Toys for the Aliens 40th anniversary. It’s priced at USD 300 and is expected to ship from July 2027 to December 2027, with a limit of 6 per person.
A Face That Stays Calm
Hicks is the quiet one in that squad, and the newly developed head sculpt seems to get that. The separate rolling eyeballs matter more here than on a louder character, because his whole performance lives in where he’s looking. The short brown hair is sculpted rather than rooted, which I think suits a Marine who’d never fuss over it.
Armor With a Personal History
The green camouflage M3 Pattern Personal Armor carries the decals fans freeze-frame for: the red heart with a padlock on the chest and the bullet hole with “BORN AGAIN” on the left shoulder. Those little markings are what make it Hicks and not just a generic Marine. Add the M10 Pattern Ballistic Helmet, the green right wristband and the weathered black and green boots, and the kit looks properly lived in.
The Body Under the Gear
Hot Toys uses silicone arms for a seamless joint look across 18 points of articulation, plus a printed service tattoo on the left bicep. Eight newly developed interchangeable hands include pairs for gun and knife grips. The tailoring and weathering put it in the same conversation as Damtoys’ military figures, which is high praise from me.
The Hardware and the Base
The M41A Pulse Rifle has a slidable forend, retractable stock, removable magazine and sling. You also get the “close encounters” pump-action shotgun with scabbard, a combat knife, M40 HEDP Grenades, a black wristwatch and an ME3 Hand Welder for sealing corridors. The TNR Shoulder Lamp lights up white over USB, and the metal grating base comes with Xenomorph remains, an Aliens logo and a nameplate.

The Collector’s Survival Guide: How to Justify This
The Collector Math: Ripley drifted through space in hypersleep for 57 years before anyone came to get her. Hicks starts shipping in July 2027, eight months from today, which is barely one percent of a Ripley. In Aliens time, that’s next-day delivery.
How to tell your wife: Babe, Hicks keeps a shotgun handy for close encounters, and that’s a man who knows his job. For years, every spider in this house has been my close encounter. Starting July 2027, spider duty belongs to the Colonial Marines.
How to tell your parents: Mom, you always made me text you the second I got home so you’d know I was safe. Hicks put a locator bracelet on Ripley’s wrist for exactly the same reason. He’s basically you with a pulse rifle.
How to tell your kids: This is Corporal Hicks, and you’re allowed to look at him from anywhere in this room. One finger on him, though, and I turn into his buddy Hudson and unplug the console. Game over, man, game over!
This Hicks earns his shelf space through restraint: the calm face, the “BORN AGAIN” armor and a base that tells you exactly how his day went. If Aliens is your film, I’d put this near the top of the 40th anniversary lineup, and we’ll keep an eye on the ship window as it gets closer.
