The release window and price haven’t been announced yet, so for now this is a name and a promise.
The Hardcase Sixth Scale Figure by Hot Toys is a Sixth Scale collectible figure of the Star Wars clone trooper Hardcase, made by Hot Toys. Its price, release date and accessory list have not been announced.
Why We’re Watching This One
If you watched The Clone Wars, you know Hardcase: the heavy-weapons clone with zero volume control and even less patience, the guy whose idea of a quiet moment was reloading. He earned his place in fan memory during the Umbara arc, and he went out exactly the way he lived, loudly and on his own terms. I like that Hot Toys picked a trooper defined by personality rather than rank, because that puts the pressure on the head sculpt and the posing to carry who he is. The part I find funny is that the most famously restless clone in the series is about to become something you’ll mostly admire standing perfectly still on a shelf.
What I’m watching for is the first full photo set. Hardcase lives or dies on attitude, and a stiff, neutral face would miss the whole point of him. We’ll update this when Hot Toys shares the price and pre-order date.
