Wolverine: Marvel Zombies Statue by Sideshow Collectibles Preview

Sideshow’s zombified Logan comes with an exposed Adamantium skeleton, Headpool skewered on a claw, and a ruined X-Mansion base for $595.

Wolverine: Marvel Zombies Statue by Sideshow Collectibles

The Wolverine: Marvel Zombies Statue by Sideshow Collectibles is now up for pre-order at $595, with shipping expected between October 2027 and February 2028. It takes Marvel’s most stubborn mutant and asks what happens when even a healing factor finally loses the fight. I think it’s one of the more inventive Wolverine pieces Sideshow has put together in a while.

The Wolverine: Marvel Zombies Statue is an 11.5-inch (29 cm) polystone-style display statue made by Sideshow Collectibles and based on the Marvel Zombies comic book series. It is priced at USD $595 and is expected to ship between October 2027 and February 2028, with a limit of 2 per person. The edition size has not yet been announced.

A Healing Factor That Lost the Race

The whole concept rests on one idea: Logan’s hunger is finally outpacing his ability to heal. Sideshow shows it through damage, with torn flesh and muscle peeled back to reveal his silver Adamantium-coated skeleton underneath. That silver is the smartest color call on the piece, because it reminds you there’s still a weapon-grade frame under all the rot, and it gives the decay something cold and metallic to play against.

Headpool on a Claw

Anyone who read Marvel Zombies will smile at this: Wolverine has Headpool skewered on one of his claws. It’s a grim gag that only works because Deadpool, the Merc with Half a Mouth, is the one character who can keep talking after something like that. I like that Sideshow leaned into the comic’s dark humor instead of treating the whole thing as straight horror, since that tonal mix is exactly what made the series stick.

A Base That Tells the Story

The crumbling earth under his feet is where the sculpt does a lot of its storytelling. You get a skull, a spinal column and Sabretooth’s severed arm, which feels like a very Logan way to settle an old rivalry. Then there’s the X-Mansion’s seal lying in ruins, and that’s the detail I keep coming back to, because it says the school, the team and the dream are all gone without a single word on a plaque.

Sculpt Volume and How It Compares

At 11.5 inches tall, 10.4 inches wide and 7.02 inches deep (29 x 26 x 18 cm), this is a wide, low composition rather than a tall heroic pose, which suits a snarling hunter crouched over his territory. The Sideshow Design and Development Team is credited, and the layered gore reminds me of the dense environmental bases Prime 1 Studio is known for, packed into a much smaller footprint. Sideshow notes the images show a prototype, so I’m curious how the final paint handles the wet-versus-dry contrast between the flesh and that exposed metal.

The Collector’s Survival Guide: How to Justify This

The Collector Math: Wolverine pops three adamantium claws out of each hand, and adamantium is the hardest metal in the Marvel universe to get your hands on. Six claws for $595 works out to about $99 a claw. Nobody’s ever gotten adamantium this cheap, bub.

How to tell your wife: Babe, the Marvel Zombies got so hungry they ate Galactus, a guy who eats entire planets. I got a little hungry and preordered exactly one 11.5-inch statue for $595. By zombie standards, that’s portion control.

How to tell your parents: Mom, you always taught me to respect my elders. Wolverine was born back in the 1800s, which makes him older than anyone at our Thanksgiving table, Grandpa included. So I put him on a pedestal, like you taught me.

How to tell your kids: This is Zombie Wolverine, and he can still track anyone in the world just by their smell. So if a cookie goes missing from the kitchen, he already knows whose room it’s hiding in. He’s the best there is at what he does.

Wolverine: Marvel Zombies Statue by Sideshow Collectibles

I think this earns its shelf space because Sideshow built it around a real comic book idea, with the ruined X-Mansion seal and Headpool doing as much storytelling as the snarl. If you like your Logan with some bite and a little gallows humor, I’d keep an eye on that October 2027 ship window, and we’ll update this when more details land.
