Bandai’s GASHAPON division has scheduled From TV animation ONE PIECE Negative Swing 3 (ONE PIECE ネガティブスイング3) for the fourth week of April 2026, at JPY 400 (appx. $2.70) per pull. It’s the third set of One Piece charms built around Perona’s Negative Hollows. The Japanese listing basically apologizes for making a third one. I’m not accepting the apology, because I like it.

From TV animation ONE PIECE Negative Swing 3 is a capsule charm series made by Bandai’s GASHAPON division, based on the One Piece anime. It is scheduled for release in Japan in the fourth week of April 2026. Each pull costs JPY 400 (appx. $2.70), and each charm measures about 3.5 cm (appx. 1.4 in).
Perona’s Ghost Does the Heavy Lifting
Perona, the Ghost Princess from Thriller Bark, ate the Hollow-Hollow Fruit. Her Negative Hollows pass through a target and leave them flat on the ground, apologizing for existing. Bandai sculpts that exact moment: a small white ghost poking out of each pirate’s torso. It’s a gag only fans will read instantly, and that’s the charm of it.
Egghead Outfits for the Crew
After Luffy, Usopp and Nami filled the first two waves, this set dresses Nico Robin, Franky and Brook in their Egghead future-island looks. That costume swap matters. Egghead is the arc where Vegapunk’s lab turns the crew into sci-fi tourists, so the sleek suits and tech trim fit the timeline the anime is chasing now. Good call.
Shanks and Kid Share a Shelf
The two non-Straw Hats are the real draw. Shanks and Eustass Kid collided hard at the end of Wano, and seeing both of them deflated by a pastel ghost is genuinely funny. Kid’s sculpt keeps the spiky red hair and heavy coat readable even at chibi proportions. I’d call him the chase pull.
Paint, Sculpt and the Size Question
At 3.5 cm, these lean on clean flat color rather than gradient work, and that’s correct for a ball-chain charm that will bounce around on a backpack. The heads carry most of the volume, so the 2D anime faces translate without odd angles. Next to a Good Smile Nendoroid’s face printing, the eyes won’t be as crisp. My open question is paint consistency across a capsule run at this price, which nobody can judge until the first machines are filled.
The Collector’s Survival Guide: How to Justify This
The Collector Math: Perona’s Negative Hollows work on everyone except Usopp, because he’s already too negative for a ghost to bring down. Five pulls at 400 yen is 2,000 yen, which takes my bank balance to full Usopp. I’m officially ghost-proof.
How to tell your wife: Shanks walked into Marineford and ended the biggest war in One Piece with one sentence. For 400 yen, that same man now rides on my backpack. Babe, I’ve come to put an end to this argument.
How to tell your parents: You raised me to always accept a sincere apology. The Japanese listing for these charms literally apologizes for making a third set, and they’re only 400 yen a pull. Leaving them in the machine would’ve been rude.
How to tell your kids: You can look at my charms, but nobody touches the little ghosts, because they’re in time-out. Perona’s ghosts floated straight through people without knocking, so now they’re stuck inside pirates. Knock on my door, or you’re moving in with Franky.
A ghost that makes Shanks and Kid look sheepish is the kind of joke only a long-running series can earn, and Bandai tells it at pocket-change prices. I’d chase Kid first and treat the Egghead trio as a welcome bonus for anyone finishing the full crew.
