The Sanrio Characters Strawberry Candy Series Mini Vinyl Keychain Pendant Blind Box is a TOPTOY x SANRIO release that turns the Sanrio crew into strawberry candy themed keychains. It was listed on February 3, 2026, at USD 10.68 for one random box, and it’s currently sold out. I’m keeping an eye on it anyway, because small, cheap and sweet is exactly the kind of blind box that sneaks back in stock.

The Sanrio Characters Strawberry Candy Series Mini Vinyl Keychain Pendant Blind Box is a series of mini vinyl keychain pendants made by TOPTOY in collaboration with Sanrio. One random box costs USD 10.68, and a non-repeat set of nine boxes costs USD 96.12. The lineup includes Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin and Pochacco, and the series is currently sold out.
A Candy Theme That Actually Suits These Characters
Sanrio has dressed its characters as just about everything over the decades, but strawberry is home turf. Hello Kitty and My Melody have been tied to strawberries and sweets for longer than most of us have been collecting. A candy theme also makes sense on a keychain, since candy is the thing you carry in your pocket and pull out to make your day better.
Mini Vinyl, Keychain Duty
These are mini vinyl pendants, so think pocket-sized character pieces built to hang off a bag zipper or a key ring rather than to stand at attention on a shelf. Exact dimensions haven’t been announced, so I can’t tell you how they compare in size to other TOPTOY minis. What I like about vinyl for this job is the forgiving, soft-edged sculpt it allows, which suits round characters like Pompompurin and Cinnamoroll far better than a hard plastic figure would. Vinyl keychains from the big blind box houses like Pop Mart have set the bar for this format, and that’s the standard I’d hold TOPTOY to once more people get theirs on bags.
The Lineup and the Rivalry
The named cast covers the heavy hitters: Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin and Pochacco. The detail I keep coming back to is Kuromi sitting in a strawberry candy series at all; she’s My Melody’s self-declared rival and the punk of the family, so seeing her sweetened up is half the fun. Any secret or chase design hasn’t been announced, so don’t plan your hunt around one yet.
Shelf and Bag Planning
Keychains live double lives, and I think these work best rotating between a bag and a small display hook near your other TOPTOY Sanrio pieces. The non-repeat set of nine is the clean way to get the whole spread, and the math is simple: it’s exactly nine times the single-box price, so you pay nothing extra to skip duplicates. If you only care about one character, a single box is a gamble, and at USD 10.68 it’s a pretty gentle one.

The Collector’s Survival Guide: How to Justify This
The Collector Math: Hello Kitty turns 52 on November 1, and I’ve never once bought her a birthday present. One box is $10.68, which works out to about 21 cents for every birthday I’ve skipped. Frankly, one box would be an insult.
How to tell your wife: Sanrio’s motto is ‘Small Gift, Big Smile,’ so I got you a strawberry candy keychain of your favorite character. They’re blind boxes, so the only way to guarantee yours was the $96.12 non-repeat set of nine. The other eight are basically packaging.
How to tell your parents: Mom, you’ve asked me where my keys are for my entire life. So I clipped Hello Kitty, Kuromi and Pompompurin to them, all dressed up as strawberry candy. Nobody in this family has ever lost track of candy.
How to tell your kids: This is Kuromi, and her official hobby is writing in her diary, mostly about people who bug her. You can look at her all you want, but the first kid who touches her gets a full page. She writes in pen.
At USD 10.68 a box with six of Sanrio’s biggest names in a strawberry candy theme, this is an easy, low-stakes series that earns a hook by the door more than a spot behind glass. We’ll update this when it comes back in stock, and if you want the full set, the non-repeat nine-box option costs the same as buying singles, so that’s the smarter route.
