From Glowing to Reflecting
Any SMISKI fan knows the core trick: these little guys glow in the dark after they soak up light. This series swaps that for a reflective surface that throws back whatever light hits it, so instead of a soft green haze on your nightstand you get a subtle flash when a lamp or a passing light catches it. It’s a smart pivot, because a charm that lives on a backpack spends most of its life out in the world, not in a dark room charging up.
Six Familiar Poses, Flattened for Travel
The lineup is six SMISKI: Hanging On!, Sneaking, Hugging Knees, Upside Down, Looking Back and Little SMISKI Peeking. Each one is only about 3 mm deep, which tells you the sculpt is closer to a flat silhouette than the chunky vinyl figures from the main series. I think that’s the right call for a keychain, since the personality of a SMISKI lives in the pose, and a knee-hugging outline reads instantly even without much depth.

Every charm comes with a carabiner, and Dreams suggests clipping it to a backpack, key case or bicycle saddle. There’s also a plate with the SMISKI brand logo, which gives the whole thing a little dangling rhythm, like a tag on a good jacket. Full length runs about 150 to 175 mm (appx. 5.9 to 6.9 in) including the chain, so it hangs low enough to swing without getting lost in a pocket.
How It Stacks Up
At $8.50 (appx. $8.50 USD) this sits in gashapon-charm territory, and the obvious comparison is Bandai’s capsule keychains, which also lean on flat, readable shapes. Where SMISKI wins for me is the writing: each character has a tiny job, like Hanging On! being quietly in control of your favorite zipper. One honest note: Dreams says plainly this is decorative and not a safety device or night-visibility gear, so treat the shine as charm, not protection.
