The 2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B) Collectible Figure by Good Smile Company is up for pre-order now, and it brings NieR: Automata’s lead android to the POP UP PARADE L Size line. It’s priced at USD 105, stands 24 cm (appx. 9.45 in) tall, and is expected to ship between June and August 2027. I’ve wanted a bigger, easier-to-display 2B at a reasonable price for a while, so this one has my attention.
The 2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B) Collectible Figure is a 24 cm (appx. 9.45 in) POP UP PARADE L Size figure of 2B from NieR: Automata, made by Good Smile Company in collaboration with Square Enix. It costs USD 105, with a limit of 6 per person. Shipping is expected from June 2027 to August 2027, and orders may ship as late as November 2027.
Why the L Size Line Fits 2B
Standard POP UP PARADE figures tend to sit around the size of a coffee mug, which works for chibi energy and fails for a character whose whole look depends on long lines. 2B is built from contrasts: black dress, white hair, a black blindfold where her eyes should be. At 24 cm, those shapes finally have room to read from across a room instead of turning into a dark smudge on a crowded shelf.
What I’m Watching in the Paint
The images shown are of a prototype, so final production may differ, and with 2B the details that matter most are the hardest to get right. All that black needs a little variation, satin against matte, or the dress and boots blur together. The white hair is the other test; a soft gray shading in the strands would keep it from looking like plain plastic. I’ll be comparing the final shots closely once they go up.
Setting Expectations Against the High End
I’ll say it plainly: this isn’t competing with a full scale piece from Alter, where you pay several times as much for layered gradients and razor-thin sculpted edges. POP UP PARADE has always traded some of that fine finishing for a price people can actually say yes to. The fair comparison is how much character Good Smile can fit into USD 105, and a larger 2B gives the sculptors more surface to show off the ruffles and folds of her dress.
The Long Wait
Today’s October 21, 2026, so the earliest ship window is roughly eight months away, and the note that orders may ship through November 2027 stretches that further. That’s a long runway for a figure in this price range, but it’s also plenty of time to plan where a 24 cm android in a black dress is going to stand. We’ll update this when final production images surface.

The Collector’s Survival Guide: How to Justify This
The Collector Math: In NieR, 2B’s memories back up to the Bunker, so whenever she goes down in a fight, she just downloads into a spare body. Sideshow lets me buy six, which is one 2B plus five spare bodies at $105 apiece. Honestly, buying just one would be reckless.
How to tell your wife: YoRHa built 2B for one purpose: to fight for the glory of mankind. Last time I checked, you’re mankind, so this 24-centimeter android is technically a gift I bought for you. Glory to mankind, babe.
How to tell your parents: Mom, you always told me I should read more Shakespeare. His most famous line asks ‘to be or not to be,’ and four whole centuries later Good Smile finally answered the question for $105. It’s 2B.
How to tell your kids: This is 2B, a YoRHa android whose whole job is hunting down rogue machines. After bedtime, any tablet still in your bedroom officially counts as a rogue machine. Charge it in the kitchen if you love it.
I think this earns its shelf space, mostly because 24 cm finally gives 2B’s black-and-white silhouette the size it needs at a price that leaves room in the budget. If the final paint separates all that black properly, this could be the 2B a lot of people settle on.
