IFiDEA is an online collectibles retailer based in Anaheim, California, for designer toys, blind boxes, plush and figures. The site has four parts. On a phone, the tab bar at the bottom takes you to each one; on a computer, they are in the menu at the top.
How to read each page
A product page
Name, price and Add to cart come first. Right under them is the wall for that series: tap a block to light up the designs you own. Tap the photo to see it full screen, and Read more opens the full description.
A wall on My Shelf
Gray blocks are designs you do not have yet. Tap one to light it up. Switch to I want to mark the ones you are still looking for. The count at the top shows how many you have lit.
The release calendar
Tap a date to jump to that day. This week and next are open; tap Show for later dates. Flags show where an item ships from, and every card links to its official source.
A convention page
Key dates come first, then how to get tickets, whether you can buy at the door, the venue and what to know before you go. Add to calendar saves the show dates; Get alerts emails you before tickets go on sale.
Quick answers
How do I find a specific figure on IFiDEA?
Tap Search (at the bottom of the screen on a phone, at the top of the page on a computer) and type a name, a brand or a series. One search looks through the checklists on My Shelf, the shop and the Radar at the same time, and shows the three groups together.
What is the difference between Shop and My Shelf?
Shop is what we sell: everything listed there is in stock or open for pre-order. My Shelf is a free checklist of whole series with photos, including designs we do not sell, so you can keep track of everything you own and everything you still want.
Is My Shelf free?
Yes. You can light up blocks without an account; they stay on your device. Saving your Shelf needs only an email, and gives you your own link to share.
What is on the Radar?
Three tabs. Releases is a calendar of upcoming blind box and designer toy drops. Conventions lists US toy, anime and comic conventions with dates and how to get tickets. News has daily articles on new figures and series.
Where do the release dates come from?
From official manufacturer and retailer sources, checked twice a day. Each card links to the source, so you can see exactly where a date came from. Dates can move, and the page shows when it was last checked.
How do convention alerts work?
Open a convention and tap Get alerts. With a free account, we email you 7 days before tickets go on sale, on sale day, and two weeks before the show. At most one email a day.
What do In stock and Pre-order mean?
In stock items ship from Anaheim, California. Pre-order means you order now and we ship as soon as the item arrives from the maker. Shipping costs and the pre-order details are in our FAQ.
