The Empee Collectible Figure by Kotobukiya is up for pre-order now. It’s based on Empee, the support fairy from the TV anime Magic Repo Man: Dumped by My Party, I’ll Cash In With a Cute Support Fairy to Become the Strongest! It’s priced at $190 and expected to ship between June and August 2027.
The Empee Collectible Figure by Kotobukiya is a 1/1 scale figure of Empee, the support fairy of the protagonist Lent, standing 19 cm (appx. 7.48 in) tall. It is sculpted by TOKIRO EMA and made from ABS, PVC and magnets. The price is $190, with shipping expected from June 2027 to August 2027 and possibly through November 2027.
A Fairy at Her Real Size
The part I keep coming back to is the 1/1 scale. Most figures shrink a character down to fit your shelf. Empee doesn’t need shrinking, so at 19 cm you’re getting the fairy at the size she actually is in the show. That’s a nice fit for a character whose whole job is floating at Lent’s shoulder, and it means she’ll sit at about the same eye level next to your 1/7 scale figures without feeling out of place.
Sassy, Not Just Sweet
Kotobukiya says TOKIRO EMA sculpted her to read as adorable while keeping her sassy attitude, and the jagged teeth are what sell that for me. A fairy with a perfect smile would be a generic fairy. Empee’s sharp little grin is the reason she works as the snarky partner to a guy who just got kicked out of his party, and I’m glad they kept it instead of sanding it into something cuter. The softly sculpted legs and the gently floating hair give the pose some lift too, so she looks mid-hover rather than parked on a base.
Clear Wings and Tailored Gloss
The wings use clear paint for a translucent look, and that’s the detail I’ll be watching closely when production photos land. Translucent wings are where scale figures either look magical or look like cut plastic, and the best clear-part work I’ve seen from Alter has set a high bar there. Kotobukiya also says the gloss is tailored to each material, with paintwork built around natural-looking shadows. If the shading on her hair holds up in the final release, that gloss could keep the piece from looking flat under display lights.
Prototype Caveats
Everything shown so far is a prototype, so the final production piece may look a little different. The magnets are listed in the materials, though Kotobukiya hasn’t spelled out where they go, so I’m not going to guess. We’ll update this when more detail is announced.

The Collector’s Survival Guide: How to Justify This
The Collector Math: Most statues come in 1/6 or 1/4 scale, which means paying full price for a fraction of a character. Kotobukiya made Empee 1/1 scale, so my $190 buys one hundred percent of an actual fairy. Like Lent, I don’t accept partial payments.
How to tell your wife: The full title is Dumped by My Party, I’ll Cash In With a Cute Support Fairy to Become the Strongest. I’ve got the fairy on preorder for $190, arriving next summer. Dump me over it and you’re finishing my origin story.
How to tell your parents: Mom, every spring you made me give up something I loved for Lent. Empee is Lent’s support fairy, so this year I’m giving up $190 for Lent, and it really hurts. I’ve honestly never been this devout.
How to tell your kids: You can look at Empee all you want, but touching her counts as borrowing her. She works with the Magic Repo Man, and he collects everything borrowed back with interest. Touch her once, unload the dishwasher twice.
At $190 for a 19 cm fairy who is literally her own size, Empee earns her shelf space mostly on that jagged grin and those clear-painted wings, which are the two details that make her Empee and not just any fairy. If the final translucency matches the prototype, I think this is one of Kotobukiya’s more charming character pieces, and I’m watching the June 2027 ship window.
