Hot Toys just announced the upcoming Davey Jones Sixth Scale Figure through Sideshow. If you collect sixth scale pirates, this reveal puts the cursed captain squarely back on our radar.
Davey Jones Sixth Scale Figure is an upcoming sixth scale collectible manufactured by Hot Toys based on Pirates of the Caribbean. The official price, release window, and specific accessory details have not yet been announced.
Why We’re Watching This One
Davey Jones carries some of the most intricate creature design from the entire Pirates of the Caribbean film run. Between the writhing cephalopod beard, the crustacean claw, and the barnacle-encrusted sea captain coat, getting him right requires serious technical sculpt work. Hot Toys is known for complex mixed-media tailoring and hyper-detailed skin textures, so seeing how they tackle his organic decay will be fascinating once the full prototype gallery drops. I’ll be watching closely to see what kind of shelf presence that monstrous silhouette delivers.
