Pre-orders are how collectors lock in pieces before they arrive — here’s exactly how they work at IFiDEA, in plain language.
How pre-orders work
You order and pay at checkout, and we ship as soon as your item arrives from the maker. Every pre-order shows an estimated arrival window (for example, “Ships ~Oct 2026”). These dates come from the manufacturers and are estimates — items sometimes arrive early, and production delays can push them back. We’ll keep you posted either way.
Deposit option on $300+ pre-orders
On select pre-orders of $300 or more, you can choose to pay a 25% deposit instead of the full amount. When your item arrives at our warehouse, we’ll send you a balance invoice with 14 days to pay before we ship. Need a little more time? Just email us — we’re happy to extend once by another 14 days. If the balance remains unpaid after that, your deposit converts to store credit and the item is released back for sale.
Cancellations
Changed your mind? Within 48 hours of placing your order, we’ll refund you in full to your original payment method — no questions asked.
After 48 hours and before your item ships, you can choose either:
- 100% store credit — every dollar stays yours to spend, or
- A refund to your original payment method, minus a 15% processing fee.
And one promise in your favor: if production runs significantly past the estimated arrival window, you may request a full refund at any time.
Shipping
Pre-orders follow our standard shipping rules: free US shipping on orders over $50 for standard-size items, and calculated rates for oversized pieces (shown at checkout).
